pH value measurement:

pH / °C measurement with one handy device: pH tester pHep4. Thanks to the practical dual display, both values can be read simultaneously on the pH tester measuring device. Thanks to the waterproof and robust housing, the measuring device can also be used under difficult conditions. Recalibration always guarantees optimum accuracy and is very easy to carry out using the calibration kits. The electrode is integrated into the housing of this pH meter.

Measurement of surface tension (test inks)

The test inks are liquids with a defined surface tension, which are available in glass bottles of 10, 100, 250 or 1000 ml. The surface energy of the material to be tested is determined by simply applying the test inks. The accuracy of the measurement with the test inks is 1 mN/m. The test inks are available in a range from 18.4 to 105 mN/m with almost any surface tension.

In the standard ranges between 28 and 56 mN/m, different graded sets of 7 bottles of 10 ml each with an application brush integrated in the lid are available.

Determination of concentration by titration

In a titration, as much of a standard solution (solution containing a precisely known concentration of reagent) is added drop by drop to a certain amount of sample solution until the substance to be determined is consumed. This end point can be recognized by a change in colour, pH change, an indicator, conductivity, etc.

Test inks answer the question: "How high is the surface tension of my components?"

The surface tension of components can be easily and reproducibly determined with test inks in accordance with DIN ISO 8296. The scope of delivery of the test inks includes 7 individual inks with different surface tensions.

When carrying out the test, strokes of different test inks are applied to the workpiece and their behavior is observed. By observing the behavior of different test inks, the ink with the optimum ink pattern is determined. The surface tension of the ink with the optimum ink pattern then corresponds to the surface energy of the film.

This enables quality assurance and process optimization measures, such as the direct comparison of surface tension on components before and after treatment.

Conductivity measurement of the water

The EC meter is supplied with a two-wire conductivity probe, with 2 m cable and a 1/2″ thread for flow operation. The measurements are automatically temperature compensated. The device can be suspended directly above the measured medium using the eyelet. If the measured values deviate from the set control point, an LED alarm is triggered. The device allows 1-point calibration via the trimmer on the front of the housing. Power is supplied externally via a 12 V adapter.
