Depending on the task and prevailing contamination, a choice is made between aqueous or solvent-based chamber washing machines. Solvent systems are primarily suitable for non-polar contaminants such as oil, grease, or wax. An aqueous cleaning system, on the other hand, is suitable for polar contaminants such as cooling lubricants or salts. If both types of contamination are present, it is also advisable to consider the use of hybrid cleaning systems. Hybrid cleaning combines solvent cleaning processes with aqueous processes.
