Invest € 5 million in new Glogar Environmental Technology Center in St. Florian.
What do die-casting tools from automotive suppliers, ÖBB bogies, spectacle frames and a 70-ton back-up roll from voestalpine have in common? They all need to be cleaned regularly and in a very individual way. Glogar Umwelttechnik specializes in the development of cleaning systems of various sizes for industry.

Yesterday evening was a big celebration at the site in Sankt Florian near Linz: 20 years ago, the family business, which has been in existence since 1919, specialized in environmental technology. The new site, in which five million euros were invested, was also opened.
“We are the only full-service provider in this field in the German-speaking world,” says Werner Vatier. In addition to the specialized washing machines, the company also develops the corresponding specialized cleaning chemicals. When it comes to cleaning agents, it is important to protect both the environment and employees, says sales manager Peter Zeinhofer.
In the past financial year (ending February), Glogar achieved a turnover of seven million euros with 22 employees. 8.5 million euros are expected in 2019/20. The export ratio is around 40%: demand is particularly high in Germany and Switzerland.
Vatier will retire from the operational business in 2020. The next generation is ready: son Martin and daughter Kathrin will form the management team with their mother and Peter Zeinhofer.
